The dialog gets you to think about a body part and make an action to that body part, and in so doing you’re building a connection between your mind and your body. When you do this for 90 minutes, it is amazing how the other parts of your mind “pollution” gets out of the way. By the time you are in savasana, you have transcended the mind. The body is stiller, the mind is stiller. You can see and be more aware of who you are as a result of working your body for 90 minutes.
The body is a medium as a means to train the mind.
